90+ LEADERS GRADUATE FROM UNITED WAY’S LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
On Wednesday, December 11, United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes hosted a graduation ceremony at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center for its Leadership Development Program participants. 96 leaders graduated from the following programs: African American Leadership Development Program (AALDP), Latino Leadership Development Program (LLDP), Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP), PRIDE Leadership Development Program (PLDP), and Development of Indo-American Leaders (DIAL) Program. United Way’s Leadership Development Programs promote the placement of African Americans, Latinos, LGBTQ+ individuals, and young professionals in board and leadership positions across the region.
United Way also recognized Reverend Julius David Jackson, Jr. with the Rodney A. Young Community Service Award. The award recognizes a Leadership Development Program alum who has exemplified self-less commitment and service to our Rochester community.
