ROCHESTER, NY – On Wednesday night at the Tocqueville Society Kickoff, United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes unveiled Mike Schwabl and Lauren Dixon and Gary and Karen Muisus as the latest additions to the Million Dollar Roundtable.  Both have contributed over $1 million to United Way throughout their tenured involvement.

Established in 2000, the Million Dollar Roundtable acknowledges lifetime giving, including planned gifts to United Way that total $1 million or more, from individuals and private family foundations. Recent additions to the Million Dollar Roundtable include the Judsons, Ray and Erika Hutch, Brian and Jean Hickey, Ed and Ann Pettinella, and Charles and Jean August.

“We believe in United Way as the convener of all things that our community must do to be successful,” said Lauren Dixon. “Mike and I are passionate believers in our United Way.”

“My wife, Karen, and I chose to give to United Way because of our deep commitment to making an impact,” said Gary Muisus. “[United Way]’s ability to connect resources to those that need it most ensures that our contribution makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives.”
