July 26 marked one year since six United Ways merged and became one stronger, regional United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes. To celebrate one year of coming together as a region, United Way had the pleasure of announcing more than $1.5 million in grants to 89 nonprofits across Genesee, Livingston, Wyoming, Wayne and Ontario counties. Programs that will benefit from these grants include summer camp and after-school programs, food pantries, domestic violence prevention programs, etc. Check out the articles below to learn more about these grants:
