Powering Change Through the Leaders United Challenge Grant
ESL’s Leaders United Challenge Grant has been especially impactful, empowering new and increased gifts through a generous $250,000 match. By doubling the impact of every dollar raised, ESL inspires leaders across our community to give back and support those in need.
Commitment to Community
Through their internal workplace campaign last year, ESL employees raised $115,000 with support from 174 donors, and ESL’s corporate gift of $250,000 brought the total to an inspiring $365,000. Beyond financial contributions, ESL’s commitment to community shines through in its volunteerism and employee engagement.
From pandemic relief to funding local nonprofits, ESL’s contributions address our community’s most pressing needs and drive powerful outcomes. ESL’s involvement extends to impactful initiatives like Project Uplift, ROC Family Teleconnects, TogetherNow, and the Rochester/Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative. Their sponsorship of the Nonprofit Summit and training programs supports local nonprofits and builds capacity for lasting growth, ensuring our region’s needs are met well into the future.
Connecting Employees to Community Impact
ESL fosters a culture of involvement and community pride, demonstrated at our Battle of the Bands event, where ESL’s House Band took the stage to help raise over $11,000 for United Way’s Community Impact Fund. By engaging employees in giving back, ESL builds lasting connections across our community, inspiring others to join in the effort to make a difference.
