What inspired you to become involved with United Way?
The opportunity to help children with resources as well as families in a greater capacity.
What have you learned from your involvement with United Way?
Connection with the community is a process that takes time, a pure heart and patience.
What motivated you to give back to the community with United Way?
My experiences as a student at Wilson Commencement High School and teacher/mentor motivates me to never forget why it is important to give into the former, present and next generations. Further, knowing the actual needs of children and people overall as well as seeing the community blossom as a result of genuine giving is what motivates me to continue giving.
If you had a magic wand to fix one challenge in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes community, what would it be?
The ability to refresh every area within seconds.
