What inspired you to become involved with United Way?
The opportunity to continue giving back to my community. Also, being able to have a seat at the table to further educate those in need as well as give them resources.
What have you learned from your involvement with United Way?
I have learned that we are stronger together, than we are apart. I have also learned the importance of leadership, and how it affects the teams you work with.
If you had a magic wand to fix one challenge in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes community, what would it be?
Institutional racism.
What excites you most about our community’s future?
The fact that I know the work is not done. So much more to be done. So many up-and-coming leaders.
