Multicultural Book Drive

Multicultural Book Drive

September 15-October 15

In Honor of Hispanic Heritage Month

Presented By:

Multicultural literature and storytelling can promote a sense of belonging and cross-cultural friendships. We need your help to stock the shelves at local nonprofits with multicultural books for ages Pre-K through Young Adult (YA).

All books collected will be donated to local nonprofits in need of children’s and YA books that represent the families they serve.

HOW TO DONATE

Stop by our cosponsoring independent bookstores to purchase books and support local (see below)! There will be a donation drop box in the stores and at our local United Way office for the books. You can donate both new and gently used books.

Skip the line and make a donation below. Choose the age group you’d like us to shop for and United Way staff will buy a variety of books based on the selections.
