Food Insecurity in our Region
Every day, 1 in 8 of your neighbors worry about where their next meal will come from and struggle to find enough food to be filling and healthy. Families often have to choose between paying rent and buying groceries, and when they can afford food, the affordable options are often low in nutritional value leading to poor health outcomes down the road. Join United Way's Emerging Leaders Society to learn more about what food insecurity looks like for families in our region, how our partners are helping communities fill the gap, and how your support is making a difference.
